NEW DBD Song & new music!

So, we put up a new Death Before Dishonor song yesterday entitled, "Coffin Nail".  This is one of my favorite songs to play and to listen to off the new album, and a good representation of it as a whole.  The album drops July 28th on Bridge 9 Records.  Also next week, our 7inch entitled, "Our Glory Days" comes out as well.  It features two songs from the new album as well as an exclusive cover song.  Definitely check these things out at
www.Bridge9.com

I fly to Boston to meet up with the guys on July 2nd for some practice before the 10 Bands for $10 tour.  We are playing a 7inch release show on the 3rd at the Tiger's Den in Brockton as well.  Not sure of full details at this point but, the show will be great.  There will definitely be exclusive limited screenprinted 7inch covers designed by my brother Juicy Joel .

In other news, I've been rockin a lot new music lately that I figured I'd share with anybody who's interested.  Definitely not a lot of hardcore, but what can I say, I think I hear enough of that stuff in my gig life.  Although, check out my brother's blog for some solid reviews of new hardcore.  Here we go....

First off, the new Dave Matthews Band record "Big Whiskey and The Groo Grux King is excellent.  They're definitely throwing back to their earlier style of "Under The Table and Dreaming" and "Crash".  I love this band.... NO SHAME.

A Loss For Words - "The Kids Can't Lose":  These are young kids from the South Boston area playing very very catchy, well thought out pop punk.  I hope the best for these guys because I think they deserve it.  The recording sounds great which is impressive considering they have no label backing AT ALL.  PS Singer Matty Arsenault sang all melodic backing vocals on the new DBD record.  For fans of New Found Glory, Paramore etc.  Big ups to A Loss For Words!

Billy Talent - "III":  Their third record (obviously) due out sometime in July.  I became a big fan of this band a couple years back thanks to Javier of The Warriors .  This band definitely has a unique sound that I don't think is for everybody, but it's definitely for me.  Anybody familiar with Billy Talent can expect a great follow up to II with some unfamiliar but super catchy melodies all over it.

I'll update again when I head back to Boston.  They call me the breeze...
